In the Arena:
Color Wheel Yarn [mama2lilyndevon](person) Amanda. My next stocking, around the 29th, is going to be a special stocking for Fuji who is the little dog of Dawn knittinwolf of Wolfe Farms. (If you don’t watch the podcast, you need to check it out.) I am working of a self-striping yarn that I will be naming Brave. This is a special yarn that I will be using for donations from now on.
The colors of the yarn are:
Teal -ovarian cancer
Red and white - cervical cancer I’m not sure if I’m going to variegate this section of just leave is natural
Red - Heart disease
Lime Green - Lymphoma (This is what Fuji is fighting)
Pink - Breast Cancer
Purple - Domestic violence and pancreatic cancer
I am going to try and have as many skeins dyed as possible but I will also have a preorder listing. The available bases will be Strong Sock (80% superwash merino 20% nylon) and Tuff Sock (80%Superwash BFL 20% nylon) and they will be $26 each. All of the profits of this yarn will go to Fuji until her treatment is over. After that I will continue to dye this yarn and donate the profits to charity.
