What's Cookin?: Cranberry Acorn Squash Delight
1 medium acorn squash, 1 lb. ground turkey, onion if desired, 1 apple shredded, 1/4 c pecans, 1tsp. nutmeg, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1c cranberries. Slice squash and gut. Cook turkey adding onions, apple, pecans, seasonings. Add cranberries stir and scoop mixture into squash. Put into crock pot and pour some water into it. Cook for four hours on low or until squash is soft.
